LSA is a new club this year at Minarets, started by Mikayla Garaffa. LSA stands for LGBTQ+ Support and Activists and the goal of the club is to provide support for the LGBTQ+ community as well as a safe place within the school where people can be themselves. As of right now, LSA meets on Thursdays at lunch in Ms. U’s room (610). Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join, whether you’re a member of the community or not, so feel free to stop by the next time you hear the announcement for the club.
