This year's Best of the Best was different from the rest. There were more school-related topics rather than school or a person. These topics were cool to vote on and can't wait to find out the winners. I will sum up the topics, tho knowing there are a lot of them.
I would say the most fought-for category would be the best student in each grade. For Freshman of the Year, the nominees were Jack Fiala and Mikayla Orr. Makayla Rossen, Marissa Sheehan, and James Suehiro. For Sophomore, it was Noah Abraham, Ariella Beeler, Ella Cohlan, Riley Dunbar, and Mia Garcia. Juniors were Seth Benas, Tessa
Camacho, Laura Desilva, Emma Fialla, Aidan Johnson, and Denny Viloria. Finally, the senior nominees were Acacia Edeluchel, Abbi Goodwin, Ryu Sotelo, and Joshua Wolford.
There was a category for best Journalist which is this amazing class at Minarets. The nominees were Keira Evans, Caleb Herbert, and Holly Payton. I can see why these students were voted for in this category. Another cool category is The Broadway Bound Award. This award is who we think will grow up and be on Broadway. The people who voted for this were Isabella Barnes, Seth Clark, Soledad Lemus, and Lila Oster.
All these nominees are such a good pick. They have shown why they should be voted for these things. We can't wait to see who wins!
